Key Responsibilities:

Enforce corporate safety policies on the job site, providing key responsibility for safety compliance in the field.

Implement proactive pre-task safety planning for all work activities.

Supervise, coordinate, and sequence contractors' work.

Monitor performance and coordinate work to maintain productivity of trades, ensuring adequate manpower for work in place.

Develop and maintain a complete and detailed project schedule and manage work in accordance with the schedule.

Coordinate and track material deliveries.

Develop site logistics plans for the entire project to maximize productivity.

Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by enforcing contract requirements and limiting field changes.

Assist with the development of work scopes and front-end documents.

Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, Tenants, and Owners.

Effective timely resolution of conflicts and disputes to minimize delays and claims.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years' experience in the industrial construction industry on commercial projects greater than $1 Million.

Minimum 5 years of direct supervision of projects including trades.

2-year technical degree or equivalent combination of education/experience required.

OSHA 10 hours required.

Local experience and contractor knowledge.

Ideal candidates must be willing to travel within the Carolinas.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong negotiation skills to resolve field issues with subcontractors, design team, and/or owner.

Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Sage 100 experience preferred.
