What you will be doing:

Provide nursing care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse

Following hospital, state, and federal regulatory standards, policies, and procedures deliver care per individual treatment plan

Provide for patient safety and comfort through attention to basic needs and activities

Recognize situations to safely deescalate patients utilizing assistance from support team

Move and transfer patients, escort and transport patients

Communicate information to RNs regarding changes of condition and clinical information

What you must have:

Professionals who have a high school diploma or GED and registration as a nursing assistant (NAR)

CNA preferred

CPR certification preferred

Ability to provide accurate and clear communication in a calm, non-threatening manner

Proficiency in operation of computers, copy machines, metal detectors, and patient lifting equipment

Flexibility to adjust scheduled hours of work to meet the hospital's workload demands
