Information Technology Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Information Technology Engineer with experience in both managed hardware and cloud based infrastructure. This position will be responsible for troubleshooting, developing, and maintaining systems and networks for our organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot and address hardware, software and networking issues

- Monitor system performance

- Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software

- Provide training to users on processes, procedures, and new systems

- Research and evaluate new technologies

- Create and maintain documentation of system configurations

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- 3+ years professional experience in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field

- Expertise in Windows desktop and Linux operating systems

- Ability to develop scripts to automate tasks and manage systems

Desired Knowledge and Experience:

- Red Hat Linux, Windows Server, and MacOS operating systems

- Virtualization technologies including XenServer and VMWare

- Active Directory/LDAP, including GPO management

- Networking experience, especially using Cisco IOS

- VLANs and VPN tunnel technologies

- Script and automation environments

- Network security, including ACL management and firewall configuration

- Work in a secure data center environment

- Amazon Web Services and/or Microsoft Entra cloud services

* We are a Hybrid Office - with 2 days in office and 3 days remote**
