FLOOR TECH / HOUSEKEEPR

FULL TIME! MONDAY - FRIDAY 9:30 - 6p

McGregor PACE, an innovative community based Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly, takes great pride in the provision of comprehensive services for frail older persons.

We are seeking an experienced self-motivated individual to join our Environmental Services team. This person will actively contribute to the general Housekeeping Services to ensure a "clean, safe working environment" daily for consumers, staff and visitors.

Our ideal candidate as a Floor Tech / Housekeeper must have a strong working knowledge of general housekeeping duties in addition to floor maintenance and mechanical equipment with relevant experience operating a side to side orbital floor machine and auto-scrubber with proven experience stripping and waxing floors to a clinical and hospital environment standard.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Follows cleaning schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.,) as outlined for housekeeping personnel.

2. Cleans floors: Dry mops, wet mops, sweeps, waxes, buffs, disinfects where and when necessary. Performs emergency housekeeping services as appropriate

3. Cleans assigned areas, furnishings, and fixtures according to established housekeeping procedures.

4. Maintains cleanliness of entrances and exits.

5. Reports supply and equipment needs to Housekeeping Supervisor; maintains equipment used in performing duties.

11. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School diploma, or equivalency required

Prior experience working in nursing home, adult day care or assisted living preferred

Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without direct supervision

Dependability, flexibility and caring attitude, required

Ability to performs tasks despite frequent interruptions

Must have reliable transportation
