Provide analytical support to Global Shared Services (GSS), including advancement of analytic techniques e.g. predictive analytics. Maximize utilization of appropriate Platform enabled digital technologies to deliver optimal value to Business Units and Supply Chain Management (SCM) Centers of Excellence (CoE).

Chevron is accepting online applications for the Global Shared Services (GSS) Business Analyst position in the Digital & Optimization Team, Makati, Philippines, until May 8, 2024.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Develop, implement, and support self-service analytical solutions, such as dashboards, scorecards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to meet the needs of GSS, Business Units and SCM CoEs.

Contribute to data analysis, data wrangling, data visualization, and user acceptance testing.

Drive insights to business problems by visualizing the data and telling a story through data (patterns, trends, anomalies, etc.).

Participate in the end-to-end product development lifecycle as a member of agile teams.

Maintain currency in the capabilities of the analytical tools available to Chevron and adopt these where applicable.

Serve as a power user for data available in SCM Systems (e.g. SAP, JDE, Smart by GEP, etc.).

Fluency in developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform, such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate etc.

Ability to build sustainable low code digital solutions using Supply Chain Management or local data and incorporate end-user feedback.

Typical work items can include:

Front End Visualization Development (Power BI).

Data Mining, Process Mining and Trend Analysis leveraging various data sources.

Low Code Development (MS Power Platform, such as PowerApps and Power Automate).

KPI Development.

Benchmarking.

SharePoint Site Development & Enhancement.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Attributes:

Bachelor's degree holder (Preferably IT related).

5 years of professional work experience.

Willing to work in shifting schedule.

Experience with ERP (SAP & JDE) and Procurement system (Smart by GEP) data.

Experience with Microsoft Power Platform.

Good English verbal and written communication skills

Propensity to work in a proactive, Agile, results-oriented environment.

Enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds.

Ability to quickly learn applications and related business activities.
