Job Description & Summary

A career with the PMO Hub, within Advisory’s US Acceleration Centers, will provide you with the opportunity to deliver significant impact with measurable results in the area of Project management standardized services. You will focus on building, updating, and managing projects / spaces within the tools leveraged for standardizing project management activities. Additionally, you will work with practice groups and other team members to further standardize and automate services through the creation of new archetypes to extend the solutions to various practices within the Firm and to optimize the repeatable activities performed within the tools.

The PMO Hub is a centralized support organization within the US Accelerations Centers that provides PMO services to engagements within the Advisory line of service, the goal of which is to promote standardization and consistency and reduce risk through increased accuracy and efficiency, thereby aiding in improved delivery quality, client relationship management, business development, and professional development.

As a member of the PMO Hub, you will work as part of a team of analytical problem solvers, helping to coordinate, manage, and advise on project management standardized services throughout their full lifecycle. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

● Create, update and maintain projects and spaces within Jira and Confluence using standard templates

● Ability to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language)

● Ability to create advanced dashboards in Jira using creativity and advanced JQL

● Ability to create and maintain Kanban and Scrum boards and customize it to project needs

● Ability to create and manage complex workflows within Jira

● Perform user management on a daily basis

● Ability to perform low to medium complexity Jira and Confluence configurations

● Identify opportunities to enhance and/or standardize tools and templates

● Support the maintenance/update of existing training materials

● Pursue opportunities to develop existing skills and to upskill outside of your comfort zone, both personally and for the PMO Hub in general

● Ability to effectively communicate and set correct expectations with the client as well as internal team

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or proven record of success in the following areas:

● Understanding of and ability to manage Jira and Confluence configurations to effectively execute the day to day activities for the project management standardized services team.

● Identify opportunities to enhance and/or automate tools and templates, and assist with the research and evaluation of those opportunities to drive standardized delivery of service offerings.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or proven record of success in the following areas:

● Managing projects with effective prioritization/time management skills in order to handle multiple projects simultaneously

● Using written and verbal communication skills, including problem/conflict resolution

● Creating professional networks (internal and external) and building relationships at all levels of seniority and lines of the organization

● Exercising appropriate judgment regarding confidential and sensitive information; using judgment to see the long-term impact of issues/ideas

● Keeping stakeholders informed, including initiating and maintaining positive working relationships
