CMS Surveillance Technician

Job Description

Salary: $11.75- $12.50 per hour

We are currently hiring immediately for a full-time Central Monitoring Station Surveillance Technicians for both night shift and day shift; Full Time and Part Time/Full Time Hybrid.

Schedule is flexible but set and can also include: 5 8-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts

As a Surveillance Technician, you will work with various types of communication and electronic data processing programs and with a team of other Surveillance Technicians to ensure that company procedures, policies, and expectations are upheld. You will call for emergency/police dispatch to our client’s properties to ensure the protection of their assets and property, as well as track departmental data and prepare/maintain respective reports as necessary.

Responsibilities include:

Identifying suspicious activity from live video streams or electronic messages from fixed surveillance units across the country and dispatch police as necessary

Communicate and support field activities with onsite Security Guards, Field Technicians, and other company employees.

Initiate incident investigation and work closely with law enforcement to prosecute criminal activity

Communicate with Shift Leads and on-site Managers.

Ensure a clean and safe work area

Complete shift paperwork

Any additional responsibilities as directed by the Team Lead and/or Central Monitoring Station Management.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be able to sit for 8 or more hours at a time

Must be able to pass a drug test

Must have reliable transportation to commute to Layton office

Must have no criminal history

Must have high school diploma or equivalent

Ability to commute/relocate:

Layton, UT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required), except for (1) hybrid position.

Experience:

Surveillance: 1 year (Preferred)

Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
