What You’ll Do:
Operate Semi Trailer Tractor Trucks - loading and unloading trailers safely and obeying all local and federal regulations.
Transport vehicles between Service Centers and dealerships.
Perform required daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and records per FMCSR rules and regulations.
Keep track of plates, permits, licenses, inspections, and periodic maintenance on tractor and trailer and report status to immediate supervisor.
Record all out-of-state miles for fuel tax reporting purposes.
Fuel and wash truck as needed. Keep the interior of the truck tidy and organized at all times.
Report all Traffic Stops Immediately. (DOT violations, speeding tickets, etc.)
Maintain all DOT requirements to keep Certification current.
What You’ll Bring:
Certificates Licenses and Registrations – CDL Class A License, current DOT physical card in possession at all times. DOT physicals are required every two years. Driving school certification is a plus.
2 years of experience driving a minimum of an F600, or similar vehicle, with a 50 ft trailer.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to travel as necessary.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effective use of time.
Ability to make prudent and timely decisions, be well-researched, and reflect an awareness of impact.
Adaptability by adjusting to changing business priorities.
