Location: 2688 E Rose Garden Ln, Phoenix, AZ 85050

Bonus: Eligible for Quarterly Shop Bonus Plan, up to $300 per quarter!

Shifts: 1st Shift (6am - 3:30pm) Monday through Friday

Tool Crib Attendant Job Summary

Maintain, store, inspect, and distribute tools and fixturing to the production floor. Maintain database inventory of all available, in use, and being maintained tools. Clean, sharpen, calibrate, and properly store all tools and fixtures. Report tooling usage and inventory, maintain MSC cabinet Add serial numbers or other tracking devices to tools and fixtures, associating records of maintenance, use, damage, etc. Create and receive purchase requisitions for tools and fixturing.

Duties/Responsibilities

Kit tools and fixtures for the production floor

Inspects and measures tools and fixture for defects and wear, visually and or using mechanical inspection equipment

Issues tools and fixtures to workers and maintains records of tools and fixtures issued and returned, using computer database.

Locates lost or misplaced tools and fixtures

Mark and identify tools and fixtures according to shop standards

Maintain and report on tooling usage and inventory using Microsoft office.

Place PR and tracking delivery date feedback to production.

Maintain MSC cabinet inventory up to date and order per min/max.

Required Skills/Abilities

Ability to use computer-tracking software and Microsoft office for report.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Understanding of machine tooling and fixturing

Ability to use basic inspection tool

Good communication skills

Prepare periodic inventory or keeps perpetual inventory and requisitions stock as needed

Received, unpacked, and stored incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory

Identified user's tools, parts, equipment, and requirements and requisitions stock as needed

Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Ability to keep simple records and make arithmetic computations accurately

Education and Experience

Graduation from high school or trade school and one year of experience in mechanical maintenance. Additional related education may be substituted for work experience.

Experience as a Tool Crib Attendant is a plus.
