Line Technician

Job Description

Bihler's manufacturing plant is looking for a Line Technician. Experience in operating, setting up, and performing maintenance on high precision equipment in a metal stamping and forming environment. Bihler of America, based in Phillipsburg NJ, has been a leading force in advanced automation technology since 1976. Responsibilities & Duties:

Produce parts to customer specifications.

Understand piece part drawings.

Measure parts using the proper inspection equipment and inspect raw materials.

Enter data and fill out inspection sheets.

Make adjustments to tooling to keep parts in specification.

Ensure proper labeling, packaging and palletizing of parts.

Perform all other duties, as assigned.

Skills & Requirements:

Positive attitude and a team player.

Must have good record keeping skills.

Ability to measure parts accurately using toolmaker microscopes, comparators, etc.

Willingness to work overtime when required.

Good work ethics and a desire to learn are essential.

Good communication skills and attention to details are a must.

Physical requirements:

Be able to work in assembly plants.

Frequent standing, lifting, and walking.
