Junior Commercial Project Manager

Job Description

Responsible for leading Solar PV Project through all the stages - Pre-Design, Contract review, Design/Engineering, Installation, Post Installation, Permission to operate

Able to learn quickly and take direction well from experienced team members

Teamwork-oriented, able to work in the office in Newtown, PA and interface directly with operations team to support all project activities

Highly accountable for results, schedule, financial success, and customer satisfaction of projects

Technical knowledge of commercial solar projects with minimum 1 year project experience as engineer, project manager, or comparable role

Some knowledge of CAD for single-line electrical designs and roof layout designs

Very organized, able to manage project schedules and arrange logistics for all project deliveries, equipment rentals

Some knowledge of solar design sufficient to interface with Project Engineer and review project scope

Some experience or familiarity with the permitting and interconnection process for solar projects or other construction projects in a different industry

Ability to interface well with support field crew and develop rapport

Familiarity with solar PV project inspections and commissioning. Ability to keep track of a punch list of needed corrections.
