Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

Seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a full-time position at our Urgent Care Center in Newport News, Virginia. Collaborate closely with pediatricians to provide high-quality care to infants, children, and teenagers with common pediatric illnesses, minor injuries, and lacerations.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for pediatric patients.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, perform minor procedures, and provide patient education.

Document patient encounters accurately and maintain thorough medical records.

Qualifications:

Current Virginia license as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
