Compensation: $83,000 - $93,600 annually, depending on relevant professional experience.

Position Classification and schedule: Exempt, Full-time preferred in San Diego, CA; highly qualified remote candidates considered.

Target start date: May 2024

Position Summary:

We are seeking a candidate with at least two years of professional experience to join a dynamic team on a large project. The role entails developing Android or Web interfaces using Java programming language. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java and be familiar with Linux/SELinux. You will use Java, Typescript, and React for the project regularly.

Qualified applicants will receive a Java or Typescript technical assessment from Moebius to complete and submit for interview consideration via email.

Duties:

Develop new Android user interfaces using Java.

Develop new Web user interfaces using TypeScript and React.

Unit-level and system-level testing.

Ability to navigate a code base to find a class with little guidance.

Understanding of basic git commands and version control.

Use Agile-based development techniques.

Ability to perform “peer reviews.”

Ability to design/update features based on client feedback.

Develop capabilities and design code with “end user” needs in mind.

Object-oriented design/development or functional design/development.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, the applicant must be a citizen of the United States and eligible to obtain a Security Clearance at the "Secret" level.

Will be required to obtain and maintain Security+ and Linux+ certifications.

At least two years of professional experience developing software using Java, React, and Typescript to create user interfaces.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Development, Engineering, Information Technology, etc., or similar technical-based disciplines.

Employees typically work 40 hours per week during core hours from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, with some flexibility.

Complete a Java or Typescript assessment designed by Moebius and successfully participate in two virtual technical interviews.
