Senior NMS/EMS Architect - Ericsson Architecture

Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled NMS/EMS Architect with a strong Java/J2EE development background to join our team.

You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of the architecture for our NMS/EMS systems, ensuring alignment with Ericsson Architecture principles, supporting development teams, and driving innovation.

Responsibilities : - Develop, evolve, and maintain the overall NMS/EMS architecture across all aspects (Network, Information, and Implementation). - Champion the implementation of the architecture by actively supporting, enabling, and removing roadblocks for development teams.

- Lead Architecture Governance, ensuring best practices and adherence to defined standards.

- Define, create, and maintain all architecture documentation artifacts.

- Ensure the integrity, quality, and continuous update of the product/system architecture.

- Align the product/system architecture with The Ericsson Architecture principles.

- Integrate feedback from Product Development and Technology teams into architectural improvements.

- Support the technology strategy and plan by providing guidance on business and technology trends and opportunities.

- Leverage technical and architectural expertise to support technology leadership activities and participate in architectural studies and development work.

- Provide architectural expertise and guidance to inform business decisions, including recommendations from an architectural perspective on all relevant product decisions.

- Support the recommendation for approval of the Functional Product structure.

- Advocate for robust interfaces that best utilize FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) and 3PP (Third-Party Provider) ecosystems.

Technical Skills : - Expertise in Java and J2EE development principles.

- In-depth knowledge of NMS/EMS and FCAPS technologies.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and ceremonies (stand-ups). - Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Maven, Jenkins). - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building strong stakeholder relationships.

Additional Skills (Desirable) : - Experience with Helm charts, Kubernetes networking, and SaaS NMS/OSS/Telecom domain knowledge.

- Ability to write clear and concise user stories (bonus if familiar with Confluence). - Experience with Hibernate, code coverage tools, and Git version control.

- Understanding of Scrum Master principles and facilitating Scrum teams.

- Experience with design analysis and managing information exchange.

Qualifications : - 10-14 years of experience as an NMS/EMS architect or a related technical role.

- Proven track record of successfully designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level architectures.

- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
