Role: Human Resource Coordinator

Location: Charlotte, NC

Type: Contract to Hire

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and bilingual Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in a contract-to-hire role. You will play a key role supporting our construction manufacturing operations by providing efficient and comprehensive HR support, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration. Fluency in Spanish is essential to effectively communicate with a significant portion of our workforce. With at least 5 years of relevant experience, you possess strong HR knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding:

Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for open positions.

Conduct interviews and screen applicants, ensuring compliance with equal opportunity practices.

Onboard new employees, providing them with essential information and company policies.

Employee Relations:

Address employee concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.

Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, maintaining confidentiality.

Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

Benefits Administration:

Assist employees with enrolling in and understanding company benefits plans.

Process benefit changes and answer employee questions regarding benefits.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee benefits records.

Additional Responsibilities:

Maintain HR files and records electronically and physically.

Prepare HR reports and data analysis as needed.

Assist with other HR functions as required.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Coordinator or similar role.

Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law.

Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal, is essential.

Experience in the construction manufacturing industry preferred.

Proficiency in HRIS software and basic computer skills.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Detail-oriented and highly organized with a strong sense of accuracy.

Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
