Clean Air Engineering (CleanAir) is a leading global environmental engineering and consulting company that has been in business since 1972. CleanAir’s Advanced Monitoring Services team located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Palatine, Illinois has an immediate opening for a full-time, Electrical / Mechanical Assembler position to help grow its ambient and industrial monitoring products business.
We are currently looking for employees to produce air quality measurement equipment. This includes electronic, electrical, and pneumatic assembly, as well as panel wiring, and testing. This position requires someone generally handy with a working knowledge of electronics, and mechanical systems, and the ability to work well with others. Daily activities include reading schematics and prints to gather parts and assemble a variety of electrical panels and pneumatic gas sampling systems. An aptitude for troubleshooting is a plus.
Requirements:
Technical certification or equivalent experience
1-2 years of assembly experience
Experience with basic hand tools and small power tools (i.e. drill, impact driver)
A can-do attitude and attention to detail
A good working knowledge of Word and Excel
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Effective oral and written communication skills
PCB soldering experience would be helpful
Must pass a drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle record review. Must have a valid driver's license.
