We are currently seeking motivated and experienced CNAs to join our growing team in the Fayetteville, NC area, based at Cape Fear Valley Hospital, working Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company and gain experience in specialized nursing. Training is available for ideal candidates with limited experience. Candidates with a Certified Medical Assistant, Surgical Technician, Paramedic, or EMT certification are also encouraged to apply.

As a Vascular Access Technician, you will support our in-house vascular access team at Cape Fear Valley Hospital. You will be an independent member of an organized, professional team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with set-up of equipment and supplies necessary for indicated procedure based on directions provided by Vascular Access Clinician.

Assists with positioning patient in bed for procedure and providing comfort during procedure.

Closely watch procedural clinician to ensure all steps of procedure are completed.

Maintains equipment and supplies in a safe and conscientious manner.

Assists with breakdown of sterile field.

Understands OSHA Exposure protocol and handles bodily fluids (i.e. blood) appropriately.

Travel to facilities throughout designated service areas as assigned by the Administrator on Call.

Additional work within scope of license as needed.

Requirements:

Active NC CNA I or II, Certified Medical Assistant, Paramedic, or EMT license; or a Surgical Technician certificate, in good standing.

Maintain HIPAA/HITECH compliance with all activities.

Completion of drug screen and background check.

Adherence to Company policies and procedures.

Lift and move 50lbs repetitively.

Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, may include driving distances of over 60 miles to client satellite facility.

Complete all required modules, credentialing paperwork, and skills assessment.

Schedule: Typically four (4) 10-hour shifts per week on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Occasionally shift hours will be extended or adjusted due to patient, client, or company needs.

Pay Range: $15.00-$16.00/hour.

COVID-19: Our technicians regularly work in facilities that require contractors to receive vaccinations against COVID-19. Vascular Wellness requires all staff to comply with all rules concerning vaccinations. Before employment, Vascular Wellness will request proof of vaccination against COVID-19.
