Junior Project Engineer

Our client, a premier commercial lighting provider near the Atlanta area, is seeking to add a Junior Project Engineer to their team. This role involves working on technical engineering initiatives, ensuring projects are completed within budget and according to schedule. As a Junior Project Engineer, youll collaborate with senior engineers, contribute innovative ideas, and play a crucial role in product development and design.

Collaborate and Design:

Work closely with senior engineers to design and develop spec sheets, technical drawings, and modified products or systems.

Participate in brainstorming sessions to improve existing products and processes.

Research and Data Collection:

Conduct research and collect data to support engineering projects and initiatives.

Perform tests, simulations, and analyses to evaluate the performance and reliability of engineering designs.

Technical Communication:

Effectively communicate complex technical information verbally and in writing.

Provide wiring instructions or diagrams to production teams.

Software Proficiency:

Proficient in 3D software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks for design and drafting.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively in a team-based environment and independently when required.

Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills.

Qualifications:

Education:Bachelors degree in Engineering.

Experience:1-2 years of relevant internship or entry-level engineering experience.

Skills:

Competency in electrical fundamentals.

Knowledge of product development.

Familiarity with engineering compliance.

Troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience.
