AirAsia X is seeking a highly motivated and proactive intern to join our CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization) Technical Records and Purchasing team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance and procurement processes within the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning:
To have an exposure on a day-to-day process of Planning maintenance task cards handling from forecasting, issuing, monitoring, vetting and reporting back.
To familiarize on the types of task cards used and the functions in Planning Dept.
To learn more on the aircraft light and heavy maintenance procedure.
Materials:
To have an exposure on day to day purchasing activity ( Acknowledge request, send RFQ, price evaluation and PO issuance.)
To learn more on the supply chain process + invoice processing
Familiarise AMOS system to check on the spares availability
Tech Services:
Exposure to continuing airworthiness management activities - Airworthiness directive management, reliability, maintenance program, repair and modification processes
Technical support function of P145, Exposure to mass & balance
Training on aircraft induction - items to identify in terms of aircraft config, regulatory requirement, timeline. "
Records:
To have an exposure on a day-to-day process of technical record keeping system to ensure the company’s aircrafts, engines, components records and operational history are kept in accordance with company’s and CAAM requirements
Familiarize AMOS system for updating of Aircraft, Engines and components hours and cycles"
MOC:
Attached to MOC operations on their day to day functions in managing aircraft operations, liaison with OCC, station, defect monitoring and rectification management, etc
Familiarize with the regulatory requirements in respect of Aircraft operations.
understand the coordination between Part 145 and MOC on defects and spare requisition management \
assist MOC and observe with scheduling, monitoring reports, and any ad hoc issues required
Qualifications:
Minimum of Engineering Degree holder.
Some knowledge in Aviation
Strong interest in aircraft maintenance, technical records management, and procurement processes.
Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
Duration: This internship position is available for a duration of 3 - 6 months
Location: The internship will be based at AirAsia X office in RedQ, Sepang.
