The purpose of this position is providing a center of excellence for proposal development and production with a focus of supporting the businesses in the winning of work by providing coordination, editing, writing, formatting, graphics, desktop publishing, presentations, production, and systems to support the Business Lines’ sales and marketing, functional, and corporate requirements.

This role typically has formatting, desktop publishing, presentations, and production responsibilities and indirect reporting relationships with Marketing Services Specialists, Marketing Technicians and/or Web Designers/Artists.

• Under general supervision, support Marketing Services personnel in the reproduction of sales documents and other related sales materials

• Master the operation of desktop publishing and word processing software, as required, to meet sales demands

• Produce error-free documents, often within a tight timeframe

• Exhibit interpersonal skills that foster a team approach to sales efforts and demonstrate professionalism and initiative

• Perform duties with little supervision

• Properly file and archive all business development material

• Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements

• Accredited two (2) year degree or global equivalent; work experience in English, marketing, or business preferred

• Working knowledge of Lotus Notes familiarity with Fluor’s proprietary proposal system (TOPS), word processing, presentation, design package, and spreadsheet software

• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors

• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job

• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

• Good customer relations, clerical, and organizational skills

• Keen sense of attention to detail
