Logistics Specialist

We are currently looking for a Logistics Controller who will be responsible for preparing import/export documentation, tracking certification expiration dates, and publishing relevant information for internal stakeholders. The position is based in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

Manage document flow, contract control, and invoice processing/transfers from counterparties

Prepare information for the Statistical Report (Form 1-TC) and WTO import report

Coordinate and prepare export documents, including translation of invoices when required

Organize and implement procedures for confirming product compliance with Technical Regulations 004/010/020/032/037

Monitor the expiry dates of existing certificates/declarations of conformity and submit applications to the certification body

Disseminate approvals received to relevant departments (product managers, logistics staff, etc.)

Process company applications for one-time import permission into the Republic of Kazakhstan territory and prepare letters as per the template

Collect necessary documents for a certificate of origin and track application status on the Atameken NPP website

Obtain export control authorization and support Customer Service on export control matters

Update data in Excel files and file MR22 for recording expenses per inbound delivery

Approve VIM invoices, and allocate costs to G/L accounts and cost centers.

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Logistics, or similar technical field,

1-2 years experience in a similar position,

Strong Russian, English is a must (at least intermediate level), Kazakh is a big plus,

Experience in SAP is a plus,

A good team player with a customer-focused mindset,

Ability to work in a global set-up and communicate at all levels of the organization,

Meets the deadline on time,

Proficient in MS Office applications.
