Structural Steel Fabricator

Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday (Potential for full-time), First Shift 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay Rate: $18 - $22 / hr (DOE)

Location: Tampa, Florida 33619

Experience: 1-2 years

Structural Steel Fabricator Responsibilities:

Weld/fabricate components, as per prints.

Read/Understand schematics and blueprints for projects.

Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines, coping, notching, etc.

Fabricating and constructing metal components.

Grinding and finishing completed products.

Use of overhead cranes, grinders, band saws, iron workers, drills

Performing quality checks on completed products.

Layout, fit and tack all assembly parts, holes, rails, and miscellaneous items for final welding.

Fabricate components with minimal instruction.

Ability to read blueprints.

Ability to read tape measure.

Structural Steel Fabricator Preferred Skills:

Structural Steel Fabricator should be able read and interpret blueprints.

MIG Welding - Weld and tack steel

Must be able to use accurately torch and laser.

Strong math skills (computing fractions)

Ability to lift 50lbs.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Fabricator should have minimum 1 year of experience.

Able to stand for extended period.
