**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class B CDL Driver to operate a tri-axle dump truck. This role is essential for the transportation and delivery of materials to our various construction project sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of safety, punctuality, and reliability. This position offers the opportunity to be a part of vital construction efforts, contributing to the infrastructure and development of the Witherbee area.
**Responsibilities:**
Safely operate a tri-axle dump truck to transport materials, such as dirt, gravel, and construction debris, to and from project sites.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety.
Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and travel activities in compliance with DOT regulations.
Coordinate with the construction project team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials.
Navigate construction sites and public roads safely, adhering to all traffic and safety laws.
Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.
Report any vehicle maintenance issues or concerns to management promptly.
**Qualifications:**
Valid Class B or A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a tri-axle dump truck or similar heavy vehicle.
Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards.
Strong navigational and driving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management and punctuality.
Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading materials.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
