Candidate must be willing to learn all skills required to cross-train and perform medical and administrative duties with team members to provide excellence in patient care.

Certified Medical Assistants: Prior Experience/education in a clinical setting is required

For selected candidates who are not Certified but have enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and grow, a work experience employment track under the supervision of a physician, will be offered to be eligible to take the NCMA exam to become Certified as a Medical Assistant.

Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to

· Patient Triage and Blood Pressure Check, Administering injections. Assisting physicians during exam. Preparing, administering and educating patients on medications as directed by physician

· Check in/Check out patients. Handling correspondence, billing and medical documents. Updating, maintaining and preparing patient medical records. Handling telephone calls. Scheduling appointments

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED DURING INTERVIEW

· Certifications

· Medical records for Hep B and Current PPD

Office Hours:Mon-Thursday:8:30-5:30, Friday:8:30-4:00
