ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE - Lombard (Chicagoland Area)

We are seeking a Field Technician Apprentice to assist other highly skilled Environment Technicians for a well-established Construction and Petroleum service company in the Chicago area.

The primary responsibilities for an Environmental Technician Apprentice are:

Assist Technician in environmental compliance testing at gas stations, refineries, pipelines etc.

Comply with safety guidelines at all job sites

Assist in cleaning up job sites

After training – passing certification testing to become a technician

The primary qualifications for a Technician Apprentice are:

High School diploma or equivalent is required

Military background is a plus

Ability to lift 80+ pounds

Clean driving record

Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility with working hours depending on the operational needs of the company

Mechanically inclined preferred

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
