Unarmed Security Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Unarmed Security Guard to become an integral part of our in-house security team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises, monitor cameras, as well as identify risks to staff, patrons & property.

Responsibilities:

Monitor premises & cameras to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of disturbances, vandalism and loitering

Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security

Patrol premises

Notify law enforcements of individuals persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts

Report daily any facility issues; such as break in, graffiti, fire hazards and leaking water pipes

Request emergency personnel for high risk situations

Other daily task that may be assigned

Qualifications:

Prior Military experience or previous professional security, law enforcement, or other related fields

Ability to work all scheduled shifts

Familiarity with security equipment and procedures

Ability to handle physical workload with no issues with heights

Strong attention to detail

Neat in appearance

Strong communications skills
