Job Description
Multi-family General Contractor is looking for a detail-oriented individual for a Construction Administrator
Duties and Responsibilities
Job Startup (HUD sign, temp signage, toilets, storage, trash, water, apartment setup)
Setting up temporary, permanent electric, and water meters.
Completing vendor invoices regularly
Keeping track of contracts for subcontractors by:
Issuing
Executing
Scanning onto the server
Organizing returned contract documents
Entering that they are returned
Scanning onto the server
Verifying returned contracts
Keeping Elation electronic payroll system current
Checking all certified payrolls
Draws, Lien Waivers, and Affidavits
Lien notices and timing
Paid draws vs paid supplier invoices
Obtain suppliers’ waivers
Verifying paid-through dates with current statements
Filing
Warranty Closeout Books
Confirming insurance is correct, entering software, and scanning to server
Creating and executing Change Orders
Supporting project manager to keep them going
Checking and entering subcontractors’ draw applications
Joint check Agreements
1 year + of Sage 100 Contractor
Punctual and regular attendance is required.
Qualifications
Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
2 years experience in a Project Administrator role
1-2 years general admin construction experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an attitude toward customer service.
Performs duties under pressure and meets deadlines in a timely manner.
Works as part of a team to complete assignments.
Takes instruction from supervisors.
Ability to problem-solve.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Interacts with co-workers, supervisors, guests and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.
MUST be able to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and initiate the appropriate course of action. Must effectively convey ideas, images, and goals to a diverse group of personalities.
