Accounts Receivable - Construction Exp

Job Description

An established mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC construction, installation, and maintenance for the NY Tri-State area is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of an Accounts Receivable position on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be reporting to the Controller.

Description:

Responsible for all Accounts Receivable activities for the company

Reconciliation of individual accounts

Bank Deposits

Follow established procedures for processing receipts, checks, wire transfers, etc.

Communicate and follow up with contractors and vendors regarding payment

Present and review monthly reports

Qualification:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounts payable with a working background in a construction company or related industry

Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Should be well versed in computer usage and software such as Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with Sage 100 software is a plus
