Are you interested in starting as a tennis coach?
You will learn to develop training programs, provide instruction on proper technique, and motivate players to reach their full potential. You must get energy from interacting with people and enjoy communicating with players, regardless of their level of experience. Knowledge of teaching techniques, sports nutrition, injury prevention, and other related topics will also be developed in the role.
Initially you can start with as few as 6 hours per week or take on more if you would like to focus on developing your coaching skills faster. Lessons start at 3.30pm each afternoon.
We will support your work towards obtaining your professional qualifications with Tennis Australia and obtaining your First Aid qualifications. A background as tennis player is essential, with experience playing competitively considered a bonus.
Jerra Tennis Coaching operates from the Jerrabomberra Tennis Club NSW and the Wesley Tennis Club in Barton ACT; coaches will work in both locations. Applicants will also require an ACT Working With Vulnerable People check and a NSW Working with Children Check.
