· Korio Auto Parts Pty Ltd, operating under the name ezToolbox, is a local designer and manufacture of quality and affordable heavy duty ute aluminum toolboxes, canopies, trays and accessories. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing welding operations to fabricate and assemble aluminum components for our range of products. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities:

Reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures;

Inspecting welds to ensure they meet specifications in terms of bead width, penetration, and precision;

Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature;

Assessing welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors;

Welding components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions;

Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions;

Refining and smoothing welds through processes like filing, chiselling, and grinding

Following and enforcing strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.

Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Australian recognized Certificate III in Fabrication

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship

Have work rights, Australian Citizenship or hold Permanent Residency status in Australia
