Diploma Educator

Due to career progression, we currently have a Diploma Educator position available in our 2-3 room.

Our service is family owned and operated, with a focus on supporting and enhancing children's outcomes across all developmental, social and economical domains. Our recently renovated environments are large and open, allowing endless opportunities for experiences and interactions. Each room works above ratio, with specialised educators working across the service. Our full time float staff support non-contact times, routines and rituals across the service each day. Our 2-3 room caters to 12 children and employs 3 full time educators.

As an Educator, you will be responsible for (not limited to):

- Contributing to the educational program with collaboration from your team;

- Ensuring all developmental documentation is up to date;

- Ensuring policies and procedures are embedded within your room;

- Establishing positive relationships with families;

- Delegate tasks and actions to your team;

- Monitor and role model approproate interactions and relationships with children.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will;

- Be a positive influence to your team, the children and their families;

- Work well autonomously and in a team environment;

- Be committed to continuous improvement;

- Have a strong focus on Child Protection and child Safety Standards.

You will be required to hold;

- A Diploma of Education and Care (or actively studying)

- A valid WWCC

- A current First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis and CPR certification

- Current Child protection certification (or willing to obtain)

- Current Food Handling certification (or willing to obtain)
