Senior Producer - Korean Content

The role is responsible for identifying and creating exciting and compelling content that drives conversation and engagements around our sport and its players in Korean. An understanding of tone, style and voice is paramount for success with a creative team producing original content for our fans. This position is a passionate storyteller, a creative idea generator and an enthusiastic team player. This position works across platforms, producing for linear and digital. Non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be fluent in Korean and English

Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Journalism, Television/Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications and/or related area of study.

5+ years professional experience in production for linear, digital and social content

Experience managing a team or other professional social media account with an understanding of how brands should participate in an authentic manner

Production experience should include single and multi-camera field production and all phases of post-production. Should also have experience in developing program content, generating creative treatments, organizing show rundowns, script writing and line-producing for a wide variety of programming.

Hands-on experience in the different styles of single and multi-camera ENG shooting, lighting technique, interviewing and editing of feature material. Experience with non-linear video editing (Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere). Experience using ENPS news production system is a plus. Familiarity with emerging technologies and best practices related to both traditional and digital content consumption.

Strong understanding of the current digital and social media landscape, including creating content for Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and other platforms, best practices, success metrics and emerging platforms

Ability to organize and prioritize assignments. Must multitask, meet deadlines and produce under pressure in a team environment

Strong writing and editing skills including grammar, style and spelling

Ability to analyze and utilize data to customize strategy

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Create engaging content from concept to completion before, during and after tournaments for use on PGA TOUR platforms. Content could include images, copy, videos, graphics, GIFs and others.

Produce own features, shows and/or projects by utilizing research, writing and editing skills. Produce and direct field shoots as appropriate; conduct interviews and obtain necessary footage to incorporate into assigned project.

Create engaging content from concept to completion before, during and after tournaments for use on PGA TOUR digital platforms.

Responsible for overseeing the creative execution of specific assigned projects by setting feature ideas, rundowns, writing and reviewing scripts and directing staff during field shoots.
