Store Person

Ventia has an exciting permanent full-time position for a Warehouse Store Person based at our Defence site in Duntroon ACT. Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, you will be a vital member of our stores and warehousing team. This is an exciting opportunity where you will receive on the job training in Military equipment and software systems!

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm, offering $29.96 per hour.

You must be an Australian Citizen and eligible for a Defence security clearance

What you will be doing:

Organising and controlling the day-to-day workflow.

Receiving, scanning, sorting, and placing incoming goods on shelves

Operating machinery such as forklifts

Assisting with regular stock takes and maintaining cleanliness of work site

Must have a hands-on, proactive attitude

Experience in a store and/or warehousing environment

Forklift License (Essential)

Physically fit as the job requires prolonged periods of walking, standing, and sitting

Hold a valid driver’s license

Able to successfully pass a police check and in clinic medical assessment
