Our client is a leading premier large sized full service law firm in the heart of Downtown Toronto. They are currently seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant with strong legal background in corporate and litigation to join their practice.

Your new role

As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role within the practice. Your tasks will involve handling client onboarding, managing the firm's administrative operation, managing calendar of the Partner, preparing correspondence and legal documents for review, etc. Working closely with the Partner, you will demonstrate your strong work ethic, ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this position, the client is seeking a candidate with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant or Legal Executive Assistant in Litigation/Corporate/Labor and Employment practice in Canada. You must also have completed a community college level Legal Assistant / Law Clerk program. Strong understanding of legal terminologies, exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential. Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat and PCLaw is also required.

What you'll get in return

In addition to two remote working days per week, salary ranges from $70,000-75,000 (dependent on experience).
