Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operator to join our team. As an Operator, you will be responsible for operating various machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development. Duties: - Set up and operate machinery such as lathes, milling machines, and electrical discharge machines (EDM) - Use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and gauges, to ensure accurate dimensions - Interpret engineering drawings and use geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) techniques - Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance - Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary - Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area - Operate a forklift to move materials as needed Experience: - Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment - Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and interpreting engineering drawings - Knowledge of CNC programming is a plus - Familiarity with mechanical principles and troubleshooting techniques - Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently Skills: - Strong technical skills in operating machinery such as lathes, milling machines, EDM, etc. - Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments like micrometers and gauges - Knowledge of GD&T techniques for interpreting engineering drawings - Familiarity with CNC programming is preferred - Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
