Security Shift Supervisor FT - Night Shift

Position type: Full time Position Shifts: Night and Swing Shift Available Purpose of Position: Provide order and protect the Casino's property under the direction of the Security Shift Manager.

Respond to all non-routine incidents in a supervisory capacity ensuring appropriate actions taken and notifications are made.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: • Enforce the overall duties and policies of the Security Department.

• Protect the guests and their personal property.

• Report on any irregularities and make recommendations on improvements to prevent further irregularities.

• Supervise the performance of all Security Team Members.

• Responsible for writing reports and overall supervision.

• Train, inspect and evaluate Security Officers for alertness, appearance and proper performance while on duty and correct deficiencies.

• Responsible for preparing evaluations and recommending disciplinary actions when required.

• Responsible for communication within the Security department ensuring that information is shared with Team Members.

• Act on behalf of the Security Shift Manager in their absence.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent is required unless otherwise waived by the Director of Human Resources.

• Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Security Officer or related field preferred.

• Two (2) years' experience in a supervisory or management position preferred.

• Previous Casino and guest service experience preferred.

Must be able to work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
