Skilled Trade - Tool & Diemaker Nexteer Automotive Saginaw, Michigan Operations is soliciting candidates for Tool & Diemaker positions.

Applicants must have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes: * Must be Safety oriented individual - overriding priority * Self-starting team-oriented individuals with good technical and people skills * Must be willing to coach/mentor fellow employees * To qualify you must have one of the following: * Journeyman's card * Completed a Department of Labor - Certified Program * Experience as a Tool & Diemaker, preferably 8 years * Responsibilities: * Read blueprints to perform die repair and fabricate any parts in toolroom * Knowledge of Geometric Dimension & Tolerances * Work with close tolerances * Must have own tools and toolbox * Set up and teardown fixtures on lathes and mills * Set up and teardown dies on presses * CNC Programming Lathes & Mills * Ability to: * Operate tool room equipment including, but not limited to mills, tool lathe, surface grinder, band saw, CNC Axis Machines * Experience rigging using chains, slings and chokers from overhead cranes
