The Role: We are seeking an LNG Scheduler to be based in the company's New York headquarters.

As an LNG Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and optimizing vessel movements and inventory levels across various terminals and vessels.

Serving as a key liaison between our Downstream Terminals, Commercial LNG, Marine Assurance teams, and inventory management teams, you will ensure seamless communication and collaboration to meet supply demands and maintain operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include planning vessel voyages, managing inventory transfers, and monitoring inventory levels to minimize shortages and optimize storage capacity.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication will be essential in successfully managing vessel schedules and inventory across our maritime logistics network.

What you will do: * Vessel Scheduling: Coordinate and optimize the scheduling of vessel movements to ensure efficient transportation of liquified natural gas and inventory management.

* Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels at various terminals and vessels to ensure adequate stock levels, minimize shortages, and optimize storage capacity.

* Terminal Coordination: Manage inventory transfers between different terminals to meet supply demands and maintain operational efficiency.

* Communication: Serve as liaison between the Commercial LNG and Marine Assurance teams, vessel operators, port agents, terminal operators.

* Planning: Plan and execute vessel voyages and inventory movements considering factors such as cargo availability, storage capacity, and port schedules.

* Optimization: Maximize vessel and terminal utilization by effectively managing vessel schedules and inventory levels.

* Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate records of vessel schedules, movements, and performance metrics for management review.

* Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial, chartering, legal, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless operations.

* Problem-solving: Quickly resolve any scheduling conflicts, delays, or disruptions to maintain operational efficiency.

* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes, tools, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What you bring: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maritime, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

* Strong understanding of shipping logistics, including vessel operations, terminal operations, and international trade regulations.

* Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in LNG scheduling and operations.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and one or more coding language.

* Knowledge of linear optimization and dynamic programming a plus * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.

* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What we offer: Expected Annual Base Salary Range: [$75,000 - $100,000]. Any offered salary is determined by several components, including, but not limited to, job duties, geographic location, market data/ranges, applicant skills and prior relevant experience.

The minimum/maximum expected annual salary information includes only base salary or hourly rate and does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be offered.
