Job Description :

Develop automotive Sound package, using Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA) technique, to meet defined performance targets, specifically; Sound transmission loss at component, subsystem level.

Able to build and debug the SEA model for assembly and full vehicle level models.

Able to run baseline SEA analysis, interpret/summarise results and feedback conclusions in an efficient manner to Team Lead/designer.

Able to work effectively with design teams to develop solutions within defined deadlines and time constraints.

Have an awareness of potential design constraints (packaging, manufacturing etc.) and ensure due consideration is given in developing solutions.

Experience Required

Experience in building SEA models for high frequency NVH analysis (sound package development) and proposing design improvements.

Demonstration of the knowledge and skills required.

Experience of working in the automotive industry.

Very competent in automotive component development using engineering experience and CAE tools.

Requires supervision and/or assistance only where the issues or situation faced is highly complex and/or business critical.

Software Skills Required

EASi VAOne 13 and above

Optistruct solver for ((SOL101, 103, 108, 111)

Hyperworks (..mesh, ..graph, ..view)

3D Experience

PC Skills # Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Adequate knowledge of automotive sound pakcage treatments, materials and high frequency (300 # 10000Hz) characteristics.
