MAIN PURPOSE

As an e-Commerce Specialist, you will create and implement strategies to increase online sales. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities related to the company's website presence. Play a critical role in ensuring the success of an online retail business. You will organize, develop, and execute website marketing plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage all online activity about traffic acquisition, sales, conversion, testing and reporting.

Develop and implement an e-commerce strategy to improve website performance.

Work with the marketing team or agency to improve quality and traffic acquisition.

Research the market to discover new trends and technologies to improve website performance.

Analyse various data to deliver data-driven strategies to deliver top performance and achieve KPIs.

Oversee or directly manage digital marketing channels across SEO, Display, affiliates and email marketing and social media.

Develop a content calendar and oversee website uploads and landing page development.

Excellent understanding of UX, web design, customer flow and web analysis.

Confidence in traffic analysis, reporting tools and optimization.

Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities in the Indian eCommerce landscape.

Market Analysis and Strategy: Develop and execute data-driven eCommerce strategies tailored to the Indian market.

Campaigns and Content Creation: Implement effective SEO strategies in India to enhance product discoverability.

Customer Experience Optimization: Monitor and enhance the customer journey, ensuring a seamless and culturally appropriate experience from browsing to purchase and post-sales support.

Customer Experience Optimization: Gather and analyze customer feedback to implement improvements.

Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with local eCommerce partners, influencers, and affiliates to expand brand visibility and reach.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on India eCommerce regulations, consumer protection laws, and industry best practices to ensure full compliance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.

• Proven experience (2+ years) in eCommerce operations, preferably within the Indian market.

• Proficiency in the English language (both written and spoken) is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of Indian eCommerce platforms (Tata Cliq, Ajio, company website, etc.).

• Familiarity with SEO, digital marketing, and eCommerce analytics tools.

• Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills.

• Cultural sensitivity and a deep understanding of Indian consumer behavior.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
