About the Job

The Operations Head at XXX Global is a strategic role, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to boost operational efficiency and customer satisfaction especially in the Medical Furniture business. This role is central to managing export order processing, overseeing global supply chain logistics, leading project delivery, and third-party manufacturing. The Operations Head will also oversee administrative and operational functions of warehouse operations, supply chain, and sourcing teams, ensuring the smooth functioning of the company's extensive supply chain activities across global markets.

Key Result Areas

1. Strategic Leadership: Driving operational strategies that align with the company’s overarching goals.

2. Supply Chain Optimization: Enhancing supply chain processes to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

3. Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

4. Project Management: Overseeing large-scale projects from inception to execution, ensuring they meet quality and timeline expectations.

5. Innovation and Improvement: Implementing innovative solutions and continuous improvement practices across all operational facets.

6. Systems and Process Excellence (60-70% of role):

- System Development: Designing and developing robust operational systems that enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

- Process Refinement: Critically analyzing and refining processes to minimize waste and maximize output, ensuring all operations adhere to international standards.

- Compliance and Standards: Establishing and maintaining compliance with international standards across all operational processes.

- Efficiency Metrics: Developing and tracking key performance indicators to measure and enhance operational efficiency continuously.

- Technology Integration: Leveraging technology to streamline operations and improve data accuracy and decision-making processes. Proficiency in using any ERP system is essential for this role, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in Zoho ERP, as it is the system currently employed by XXX.

7. Understanding Delivery Requirements: Ensuring that all deliverables meet client-specific needs, including adherence to contractual timelines, specifications, and quality standards.

- Proven experience in a senior global operations and supply chain management role.

- Strong leadership skills and experience in managing diverse teams.

- Excellent understanding of global supply chain management and logistics.

- Ability to handle large and complex projects.

- Must be a Systems and Process Excellence Champion

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in the manufacturing or furniture industry.

- Multilingual and multicultural capabilities.

- Advanced degrees in business administration, operations management, or related fields.

- Familiarity with international trade and export regulations.
