Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the resort's goals and objectives.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve targets and maintain a high level of motivation and engagement.

Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through effective sales techniques, relationship-building, and proactive prospecting.

Client Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to make informed business decisions.

Sales Collateral: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, presentations, and proposals that effectively communicate the resort's value proposition.

Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring financial targets are met while controlling expenses.

Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management, detailing sales performance, market analysis, and forecasting.

Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions with clients, securing profitable and long-term agreements.

Networking: Build and maintain a strong network in the luxury hospitality industry, attending industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Customer Satisfaction: Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and continually improving services.

Sales Training: Develop and execute training programs for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.

Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments. Ensure all operations run smoothly and efficiently to meet guest expectations and company standards.

Guest Satisfaction: Maintain a customer-centric focus, ensuring that guest satisfaction is consistently achieved and exceeded. Address any guest concerns or issues promptly and effectively to ensure a positive experience.

Staff Management: Provide leadership and guidance to hotel staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork. Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Financial Management: Assist in the development and implementation of budgetary guidelines to optimize revenue and control costs. Monitor financial performance regularly and identify areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.

Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive revenue and occupancy rates through effective sales strategies and promotional activities. Develop relationships with key clients and partners to enhance the hotel's reputation and attract new business.

Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness throughout the hotel, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Administration: Oversee administrative tasks such as payroll processing, inventory management, and record-keeping. Ensure all documentation and reporting are accurate and up-to-date.

Strategic Planning: Assist the General Manager in developing long-term strategic plans and objectives for the hotel. Participate in decision-making processes related to business development, expansion, and improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the luxury hospitality industry.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

In-depth knowledge of the luxury hospitality market and industry trends.

Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant sales and marketing tools.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Willingness to travel as needed.
