Manager /Sr Manager

Manager – AR is responsible managing and guiding a team of AR associates who will be responsible for analysis of receivables due from healthcare insurance companies and initiation of necessary follow-up actions to get reimbursed. This role involves process management, interaction with the client for all planning and process improvements to achieve and exceed the client and SLAs while maintaining organizational standards and processes.

Job Description

Maintain and monitor revenue cycle metrics for assigned client and provide strategies for dynamic improvement Provide and analyses data and undertake measures to improve efficiencies.

Prepare operational reports and analysis reflecting progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations.

Identify training gaps in the team and train them as appropriate/required on revenue cycle activities and practices.

Ability to communicate, have excellent interpersonal, listening skills and organizational skills

Well informed about current Revenue cycle concepts and best practices.

Provide leadership and focus to the project teams. Responsible for the productivity, quality and overall performance of the projects.

Client Servicing

Preparing project reviews, transition & migration plans, and project feasibility reports.

Managing SLA's and ensuring smooth service delivery. Managing Service Level Quality (Six Sigma Approach) & Lead Time Management.

Lead teams to efficiently deliver client expectations. Guide team to reduce AR ageing and optimize collections.

Manage day-to-day activities with the team, but not limited to.

Monitoring and managing workflow or daily targets to assure timely delivery of agreed SLAs

Tracking and maintaining metrics for a variety of data including collections report, Operations report, etc.

Develop processes to improve productivity and quality of the team.

Participate in the new pilot projects & work towards proper transition of knowledge to team.

Work with Team to resolve any personnel problems or conflicts that may arise in the team.

Candidate Profile

Minimum 10+ years of operations experience in RCM Industry in both Physician and Hospital Billing with span of control of 120+

Should have excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel & PPT)

Coach & mentor teams, share knowledge & best practices.

Excellent communication & Interpersonal skills, ability to cultivate & maintain relationships.

Successful track record in growing and inspiring large teams, with proven ability to select, attract, motivate, retain, and develop leaders and team members.

Successful track record of improving performance against quality, efficiency, and effectiveness metrics, and meeting/exceeding contractual service level performance requirements.

Proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Analytical acumen and the ability to streamline complex processes.
