The Florida Region is currently seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to join the Orlando property management team. The individual in this position will oversee and be accountable for all aspects of the properties’ operations, including tenant satisfaction and retention, supervision of vendors, repairs and maintenance and overall financial performance of the properties.

Responsibilities

Functional responsibilities of the Senior Property Manager include, but are not limited to the following:

Maintain a strong relationship and regular interaction with clients ensuring objectives are being met.

Responsible for all aspects of annual budget preparation, forecasts, CAM recon-ciliations, monthly financial reports and ensuring all reports are reviewed and approved by the Associate Director before providing to clients.

Review and approve monthly tenant rent billings and accuracy of charges.

Manage and approve payables for the property in PayScan.

Supervise the accounts receivable and accounts payable process, including collection of rent, accruals, payment of expenses, common area maintenance estimates, reconciliations, compliance with lease terms, and preparation of all related documentation.

Responsible for the compliance of tenant lease agreements to ensure all obligations of the Landlord and Tenant are being met.

Respond to tenant requests and facilitate maintenance with staff and vendors to solve the issues. Maintains a strong relationship with the tenants.

Oversee the selection and performance of vendor services, including preparation of request for proposals and service agreements. Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance and standards established in the service agreement are being met.

Responsible for leading regular inspections of property with janitorial and landscape providers.

Conduct or oversee Fire and Life Safety training, and maintain the building emergency response plans and procedures, along with its related documentation to ensure compliance of property standards are being met.

Oversee aspects of tenant improvement work with management oversight.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum seven (7) years management experience in the real estate/property management area with a proven track record.

Post-secondary education at a university or college level preferably in a real estate or business-related area.

Any designations for programs completed in the real estate sector are an asset as would be prior 3rd party management experience. CPM designation preferred.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Yardi Property Management software experience preferred.
