Operations Location: Namibia Reports to: MD or Chief Operating Officer in line with Company Organogram Supervises: Business Unit Head(s) Finance BU Partners Contracts, Procurement & Bid Manager BD Specialist The Country Manager for Rig Operations and Business Development is responsible for overseeing all aspects of rig operations, import and export logistics, manpower services, catering, protocol services and business development activities within the country.

This role requires a strong understanding of rig operations, logistics management, and business development strategies to drive growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee all rig operations within the country, including drilling activities, rig mobilization and demobilization and equipment maintenance.

Manage the import and export processes for rig-related materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and efficient logistics coordination.

Coordinate manpower services, including recruitment, training, and deployment of personnel for rig operations and support functions.

Supervise catering services for rig crews, ensuring the provision of high-quality meals in compliance with health and safety standards.

Manage protocol services for visiting clients, government officials, and other stakeholders, including transportation, accommodation and meeting arrangements.

Lead business development efforts to identify and pursue new opportunities for growth in rig operations and related services.

Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to enhance business opportunities and customer satisfaction.

Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business strategies and product/service offerings.

Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing and operations, to develop and implement business development plans aligned with company goals.

Prepare and present business proposals, budgets and reports to senior management and stakeholders to support decision-making processes.

Ensure that the company operates within the legal framework of the country and mitigate any potential risks.

Develop strong working relationship with Government and partners in these key areas.

Financial Responsibility: Responsibility for overseeing all budgets managed by reporting Business Units and the Support Functions in Namibia Significant Relationships (those to whom the person works with on a regular basis): Internal: CEO, COO, Leadership Team, Business Units and functions, Own staff.

External: Government Departments, Specialist Consultants, Clients
