Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Packing Warehouse Associate for a metal supplier based in Alpharetta, GA. In this job, you will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as packaging various-sized metal pieces, sorting finished materials, and other related duties.

Pay Rate:

$18.00/per hour.

Schedule and Hours:

Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Packing Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities

Package finished product to maximize productivity.

Review and verify product and packaging quality by following instructions found on work orders.

Select and maintain packaging materials and tools.

Prepare bundles for shipment including weighing and tagging products.

Transport finished products to the appropriate storage area to ensure efficient distribution as required.

Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person

Create reject tags to make certain all material processing tags are accounted for.

Assist in keeping the facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently.

Other duties as assigned.

Packing Warehouse Associate Job Requirements and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

1-3 Years of warehouse experience preferably in a metal-related industry.

Experience with hand tools including tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.

Understand and practice safety policies and procedures.

Drug screening and background checks are required.

Lifting assessment is required.
