Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working HR Manager for a company based in Alexandria, VA. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for overseeing 100-200 employees, scheduling and recruiting in a fast-paced, warehouse setting.

Pay Rate

$30-$34 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

HR Manager Duties and Responsibilities

• Recruiting, screening, and selecting team members to fill vacant positions at all levels within the plant.

• Collaborating with other management on the development of an overall facility safety plan.

• Managing the complete payroll process for both hourly and salaried employees, including time and attendance recordkeeping.

• Advising management on the appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Such as corrective actions, grievance resolution and performance management.

HR Manager Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong background in Human Resources and Industrial HR experience preferred.

• Fluent in Spanish preferred.

• Working expertise in a union environment including investigations, grievances, arbitrations, and contract negotiations.

• Must be able to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
