Overview:

Summary Statement:

The primary responsibility of the Manager – Security Operations Center (SOC) is to manage, train and lead security staff in the protection of guests, employees and assets of Resorts World Las Vegas with CCTV equipment and other software. Ensure all team members are following all departmental policies and procedures. Document and report all activity of casino and property designated areas to security management.

Job Duties:

Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:

Direct the overall management of the Security Operations Center.

Lead a team which is tasked with detecting and identifying theft, fraud and other criminal activities in all environments.

Participates in the recruiting, hiring, training, recognition, coaching and discipline of personnel (including demotions and terminations).

Manages all communications systems and equipment for the Security Department.

Operate and maintain technical security systems including computer aided dispatch, video management, crisis communications, alarms, and access control.

Develop and maintain Security Operations Center policies and procedures.

Primary liaison and coordination with property communication centers including fire command center and resort services.

Participate as a member of the Security Leadership Team to protect the welfare of the employees, guests, and business interests of the resort.

Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.

Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Minimum age requirement of 21 years of age.

Education: High School Graduate.

Experience: at least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in Security or similar role.

At least 2 years of supervisory experience, including at least one year of security supervisory experience.

Preferred:

Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.

Two or more years of experience working is a high-volume Security Operations / Dispatch center.

Knowledge of local jurisdictional laws, regulations, and Nevada Revised Statutes as they apply to Security work.

Experience with computer-based programs used by Security: computer aided dispatch, video management, property management, mass communication, access control, etc.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
