The AVP, Underwriter Healthcare will provide support to the Senior Underwriter during all stages of a transaction including financial modeling, structuring, due diligence, credit approval, legal documentation and the closing/syndication process, and/or support for the Senior Portfolio Manager with ongoing portfolio and client maintenance needs.

Support the Healthcare Underwriting and Portfolio teams in analyzing and underwriting new and existing leveraged/cash flow HC transactions.

The AVP will provide support to the Senior Underwriter during all stages of a transaction including financial modeling, structuring, due diligence, credit approval, legal documentation and the closing/syndication process, and/or support for the Senior Portfolio Manager with ongoing portfolio and client maintenance needs.

The position requires strong presentation, credit and analytical skills, and an AVP who can multi-task, work in a high paced team environment, and oversee certain tasks performed by junior deal team members.

The position also requires excellent written and communication skills.

The AVP will interact with Credit Management, Borrowers, support Senior Underwriters, Operations and Closing teams, collaborate with peers and assist with special projects and other ad hoc duties on an as-needed basis.

The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is $120,000 - $145,000/Yr. This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in credit, portfolio management, and underwriting; in leveraged lending or cash flow lending

Preferred/Other Qualifications:

Master’s degree preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

Formal Credit Training program

Strong analytical, financial modeling, written and communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
