CTG's premier client has a contract assignment for a Quality Laboratory Technician.

Type: Contract

Job Title: Quality Laboratory Technician

Location: Manassas, VA

*Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Manassas, VA*

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Work Hours: 1st Shift Position, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Education: N/A

A successful candidate in this position will possess strong soft skills as well as:

Previous hands on laboratory experience

Aseptic Technique experience would be a MAJOR PLUS

Description

Tests and inspects products at various stages of the production process to determine and maintain the quality and reliability of products. Achieve department requirements for safety, quality, product release, equipment uptime, sample throughput, and cost. Ensures goods are tested to meet release commitments.

Requirements

Perform product testing including pH, osmolality, endotoxin, conductivity, density and various chemistry and microbiology tests.

Perform verification of calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment and keep the equipment in general working order within the laboratory.

Perform and review environmental monitoring of cleanrooms including viable and non-viable air sampling and surface sampling.

1-3 years lab experience

Proficient with MS Office

Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
